What We are looking for:

  • Minimum 8 years in NVOCC, ocean freight forwarding, or logistics management, with at least 2 years in a managerial or strategic role.
  • In-depth knowledge of global shipping practices, NVOCC operations, and trade lane management.
  • Strong experience in negotiating rates, contracts, and service terms with ocean carriers, third-party logistics providers, and customers.
  • Ability to analyse market trends, pricing structures, and trade lane performance to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage key customer accounts.

JD –

  • Manage Trade Lanes – Oversee and optimize NVOCC trade lanes, ensuring competitive pricing, reliable services, and strong relationships with ocean carriers and partners.
  • Develop Pricing Strategies – Collaborate with sales and operations teams to create effective pricing strategies for existing and new trade routes.
  • Contract Negotiation – Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers, ports, and logistics providers, ensuring cost efficiency and service reliability.
  • Market Analysis – Analyse market trends, shipping capacities, and trade lane performance to identify new business opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Customer Solutions – Work closely with customers to understand their needs, develop tailored solutions, and provide expert advice on shipping routes, transit times, and regulations.

  • Contact customers as per the data base, give them information about organization and the capabilities.
  • Send email to potential customers to promote company products & services.
  • Keep records of the conversation and feedback of the customer
  • Prepare a list of potential customers and pass it on to the sales team for further follow ups
  • Follow up with the customer who may have potential for business

Coordinate with suppliers across the country for bookings, shipping windows for purchase orders.

Coordinate with shippers, consignees, forwarding agents, warehouse, partner offices & agents across Asia Pacific and beyond to ensure smooth cargo flow

Responsible for sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure profitability, analyse business developments and monitor market trends

Reviewing sales reports and achieving profitability.
