GT LINES has announced the launch of a new standalone container service, India Sharjah Express (ISX), aimed at enhancing cargo connectivity between West India and the Gulf region. The service is scheduled to commence operations on 8 March 2026. Designed to offer faster transit times, high schedule reliability and integrated last-mile delivery across the UAE, the ISX service will operate on a fixed 14-day rotation covering Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Khorfakkan, Sharjah, Hamriyah and Sohar. The service will be operated with vessels of 950 TEUs capacity, accommodating cargo loads of up to 19 tonnes per TEU.
